DEITY year zero

In the center of the Temple, the hermaphrodite sculpture is the incarnation of Deidy, the divinity of divinities. Deidy is the patron godhood of the civilization  Dyeu - from which its name probably comes from.

The statue is made of marble colored with blue and red motifs and richly adorned with lapis lazuli, ruby and gold. Deity carries an impressive crown richly set with lapis lazuli and ruby, the result of skilled craftsmen who have combined the two stones to appear as one. At the top of the crown, a golden circle represents the world in its perfect form - combining physical and spiritual existence.

Its eyes are made of lapis lazuli and gold and its earrings ans genitals are made with ruby gems. One of nipples of the sculpture is made of red stone, while the other, covered by the left hand, is made of the blue stone. The statue also carries a lapis lazuli mirror.

Its skin color was created by mixing the two pigments: egyptian blue and cinnabar red.
